.NET MAUI, Microsoft’s current answer.

One C#/.NET codebase across iOS, Android, and desktop — Microsoft's actively developed successor to Xamarin, built with a clear-eyed view of what's mature today versus still catching up.

01Why .NET MAUI

Why teams choose .NET MAUI — and when we agree.

Microsoft's current direction, not a side project

Active investment and a clear roadmap, in contrast to Xamarin's maintenance-mode status — a more defensible long-term bet for new .NET mobile work.

One codebase across mobile and desktop

iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS from a shared .NET codebase — valuable for teams with both mobile and desktop targets.

Strong fit for existing .NET teams

C# and XAML conventions that feel immediately familiar to teams already working in the .NET ecosystem.

Realistic about platform maturity

Some platform-specific polish still lags pure native development — we'll tell you honestly where that matters for your specific app.

02What we build

.NET MAUI work we actually ship.

Cross-platform mobile & desktop apps

Apps targeting iOS, Android, and Windows/macOS from one .NET codebase, where that combination is a genuine fit.

Xamarin to MAUI migration

Structured migration paths for teams moving off Xamarin — see our dedicated Xamarin page for the maintenance side of that transition.

Enterprise line-of-business apps

Internal tools where deep .NET and Azure integration matters more than platform-native polish.

Custom handlers & platform-specific code

Native platform code where MAUI's abstraction doesn't yet cover a capability you need.

03Good questions

What clients ask before hiring us for .NET MAUI.

For most line-of-business and enterprise apps, yes. For consumer apps with heavy custom UI or animation demands, we'll assess your specific requirements honestly — some native polish still takes more work in MAUI than in platform-native development.

If your team is already strong in C#/.NET and especially if you also need a desktop target, MAUI is a strong fit. If your team is JS-first or you don't need desktop, React Native or Flutter may serve you better — we'll recommend based on your actual team and targets.

Yes — we'll assess your codebase's use of custom renderers and platform-specific code first, since that's what determines whether the migration is straightforward or substantial.
